“Narcos” was the first in the series of Netflix’s portrayal of the Columbian drug war and Pablo Escobar’s rise to power back in the 80s. Although the series was a dramatization of Escobar’s life and the actual drug war that ensued, the fact that it was based on true events seemingly kept viewers enthralled throughout all the three seasons.
