#29: Dear White People (2017)

Based on the 2014 movie with the same name, “Dear White People” is set in a fictional Ivy League University with predominantly white students. The main characters learn how to deal with being the African American student minority while handling a myriad of issues in what they call “post-racial” America. Although Rotten Tomatoes gave the show 99%, its IMDb score sits at a low 6.3, making it a contradiction all on it’s own but still highly popular amongst loads of viewers.
