With all the new information that they had received, on August 17, 2009, investigators returned to the home of Dmitriy and Julie Yakovlev to look for more possible clues into what seemed to be two missing persons, Malezhik and Klein. They were hoping to find something, anything, that would link him to the death of Malezhik. They even brought in dogs to help them in the search. But it would only turn up some pornographic photos of a man whom they assumed was Yakovlev and an unknown female, as well as a pair of underwear kept in a ziplock bag, in the boiler room.

Another Person With Information

Deciding to question even more people about Yakovlev, FBI agents were led back to the name they got before, Viktor Alekseyev. He was apparently one of Yakovlev’s real estate partners and when agents went in search for him, they visited his home on Neptune Avenue. But they were going to be even more perplexed with the information they were about to receive when they got there. Another man named Raviel Khassanchine had told them that Alekseyev was dead, and in the plainest terms, Yakovlev had killed him.
