Finding Her Body
10 days after Laura was reported missing, on September 14, her body was found in the same area where Laura had sent the photo of the empty field in Damascus, Montgomery County to her sister, where she had been with her boyfriend. Her body had been left in a shallow ditch, and both she and her unborn baby were dead. Police had yet to determine the cause of death at the time though, and brought her body in for an autopsy.
