So What Happened To Laura?
After completing the autopsy, authorities were able to decipher that Laura was murdered by a bullet shot to the back of her head. This is what killed her and her fourth-month-old unborn fetus, after which she was haphazardly placed in a shallow grave, buried in the same field that Tessier had supposedly visited a few times before the event took place. This is also what prompted police to search the vicinity, causing them to find her discarded body.
