Fearing For Their Lives
Although it was difficult to fathom such unpredictable and scary behavior in such a young girl, Beth’s parents knew they needed to be safe as well. They began locking Beth in her room at night, fearing that she would hurt them in the middle of the night if they didn’t. They knew they needed to get Beth help, and fast. Things were continuing to disintegrate, and if they didn’t do something soon, it would seem that Beth was going to fall over the edge.
