Gun violence in America has gotten worse over the years. From the time that the country got punched with the tragic events that took place at Columbine High School to the horrific Las Vegas shooting during the 3rd day of a Country Festival, there have been more deaths due to mass shootings than ever before. Virginia Tech University became a statistic of exactly the same problem in April of 2007 when a very troubled young man killed and injured almost 50 people. But out of the chaos came a hero, an elderly gentleman whose past was so incredibly powerful and moving that when he died to save the lives of his students, it was amazing but not surprising to his family.

See how this brilliant teacher and holocaust survivor became a hero, all because of his incredible selflessness.
