THE SENTENCING

Judge Mullen believed that Hannah did lack empathy. She didn’t think about the people and the properties around her. Hence, she sentenced the girl to 10 to 20 years. After all, she felt that Hannah could commit another crime as she lacked sound judgment. She was disrespectful and difficult, even in jail. And while Hannah is sad about the outcome, her attorney believes that she will do her best in prison. And if she acts accordingly, she will be out on parole in 5 years. One could only hope that Sabata has truly learned her lesson and will do her best to review her life so that she could do something about it once she’s been given the chance.
