Mixed Reactions

Although most of the people who had so kindly given from the bottom of their hearts had the same feelings of hurt, shame, anger and disbelief over the entire scenario, there were a few who didn’t feel quite the same. Where a few of those who had given decided to cancel their gifts for the young pregnant Chelsie, others were still willing to help the young woman, since she truly was pregnant. At least that part of their story was not a fabrication.

Still Defending Herself

In the aftermath of the entire Twitter storm, Dorthy still stood her ground and claimed ‘innocence’ over the events. She explains, “We set up fro 40 people, we sent out 70 invites. If there were 15 visitors I need to see where they were the whole time. There were multiple events going on at the same time but only me and my husband showed up at the baby shower for Chelsie.”
