A few other people from her school also dropped by the house to leave their own tributes as well. One left a note that read, “R.I.P. beautiful Jasmine will be missed by all in your 6 [grade class], fly high princess xxx,” while a parent had said, “It is a huge shock. The little girl goes to the same school as my daughter. It is very upsetting.”

Her Dad’s Personal Testimony

Jasmine’s own father, Simeon, also placed flowers at the house where she died, with a card that read, “My shining star. Things will never be the same, my heart is broken. I will never forget you, I will always love you Jasmine. Love, Dad.”
