Moving Courts

As Delroy was asked to say his full name, birthday and current address, the family sat back and listened in grief. It only took three short minutes, but after the anticipation, both Delroy and his very upset family would be told, “This case will be moved to Crown Court for a preliminary hearing,” which happened on February 14. It would seem that they would have to wait even longer to get due process.

Hearing Set For August

When he appeared in court again in February, it was just to set his trial for an even later date. Although there was no one who wanted justice more for Jasmine than her father, they would find out once more that they will have to wait until August 13 for the case to actually go to trial. Meanwhile, both sides will have time to gather evidence to make their case.
