What About The Children?
The first concern of the family was that of her kids. They knew they needed to protect them at any cost. Paige’s brother, Dr. Craig Birgfield, was a practicing plastic surgeon who immediately rushed to the aid of the 3 children. He brought his wife and kids to Colorado to move into her home until further investigation. He said, “Callie and I decided at that time that our role was to be there for the kids and try to take care of them, be family for them, just help them.”
