Portland, Oregon

Many might not know this, but Portland, Oregon is home to at least 238 waterfalls, with the Multnomah Falls as a major tourist attraction. Legend says it was built for a Native American princess who wanted a secret bathing place. Just driving along the road where the falls are located makes you feel like you are in the center of mother earth’s most awesome creations. Crazily enough, one of the city’s slogans is ‘Keep Portland Weird,’ and if you’ve had enough nature tripping for a day, or even a week since there’s just so much to see, go and check out one of their local breweries or coffee shops. Even their smallest business owners know how to make any regular visit a spectacular one.
