This underrated city tends to take a backseat to Manhattan, but really, there’s no reason that it should. Known to most as ‘The Windy City,’ it has a vast number of tourist attractions that sit smack-dab in the middle of this mesmerizing city. The Adler Planetarium for one is the perfect place to see the gorgeous city skyline, aside from learning about the actual night sky of course. Then there’s Shedd Aquarium, Garfield Park Conservatory, and the infamous Chicago Riverwalk. All in all, even if Chicago is only approximately half the size of Manhattan, it’s just as fascinating!
