Florida-based company Printed Farms has achieved a remarkable feat by successfully completing the construction of the world’s largest 3D-printed building. This awe-inspiring architectural accomplishment takes the form of a luxurious horse barn, an expansive structure that spans an impressive 10,100 square feet. To put this achievement into perspective, the company proudly asserts that their creation is nearly 50% larger than the previous record-holder located in the Middle East.

The driving force behind this groundbreaking project was the utilization of the cutting-edge COBOD BOD2construction 3D printer. This advanced technology played a pivotal role in transforming the blueprint into a tangible reality. Situated in the picturesque town of Wellington in Southern Florida, this sprawling edifice stands as a testament to the synergy between innovative construction methods and traditional craftsmanship.

“The versatility and benefits of 3D printing technology are also demonstrated through the structure’s 3D printed walls that create a cavity and air gap which provides natural cooling to the building,” COBOD said in a statement they recently made.

The structure spans 155 feet in length and 83 feet in width. During construction, the printer was repositioned five times, completing both sides twice and the central section once.

COBOD printers have achieved several remarkable feats in the realm of 3D printing: crafting the tallest 3D-printed building in the world at 33 feet in height, setting a record for speed with 3 buildings completed in 8 days in Oman, and now, creating the largest 3D-printed building on a global scale.
