Mystery Number 5, D.B. Cooper, The Infamous Airplane Hijacker
D.B. Cooper is one of the world’s most interesting and most baffling stories to date. On November 24, 1971, a man who called himself Dan Cooper bought a one-way ticket on Northwest Orient Flight from Portland, Oregon to Seattle with a major plan the entire time to hijack the flight. He was said to be well dressed, in a black suit with a black tie and a distinctive pearl tie clip.
