The fact that a third of all fatalities related to falls in the United States are due to people doing roof work is something to think about. There are a number of reasons why roofers are in danger, it’s not only the height but the equipment they are carrying, the actual work they are doing, and at times, due to a wrong step or tripping over a lose plank or nail, is enough to have them plummeting to the ground below.
