Certain areas in Puerto Rico are known to have higher incidences of crime compared to others. Drug trafficking, vagrancy, and over-all crime rates in La Perla, Old San Juan, and El Morro, make this places quite dangerous for tourists to visit and staying there should be kept short to avoid chances of getting caught up in a mess.
