15. Missing-out on a Trip to the “Lost Coast”
Puerto Rico is home to some of the world’s best beaches, with over 270 miles of coastline getting packed with tourists especially during summer. Many of these beaches are found near urban areas, making them easily accessible to most vacationers, a problem if you are one who enjoys the peace and quiet of a secluded beach.
One way to avoid the huge crowds is to visit Puerto Rico’s western coast, an area with lesser people, and home to arguably the best dive and surf spots in the Caribbean.
