$750 is a lot of money – even for those who have thousands stored in the bank. However, there isn’t a price one can put on love, and a kind woman not only recognized this, she acted on this truth by doing something amazing for a man and his daughter whom she had only recently met.
While waiting in line to board her flight, the unnamed woman overheard an airline agent telling a man that he’d have to purchase an additional ticket for his daughter who recently turned two. Because he purchased the ticket when she was one-years-old, he figured she could still ride on his lap. The sales agent informed him that because she recently had a birthday, he’d have to purchase an additional ticket which cost $750.
According to a Facebook post published by Love What Matters, the news was visibly distressing to the man. Bystander Kevin Leslie wrote:
“He was hit with emotion. He mentioned he couldn’t afford to rebook this flight or get her the ticket with such short notice. He stepped aside and tried to make a few calls. Hugging his daughter and grabbing his head, you could tell he was heartbroken.”
After witnessing the exchange, the anonymous woman walked over to where the father was standing. They briefly discussed the problem and without a word, she turned to the counter where she asked to buy the toddler’s plane ticket.
“The agent said ‘You know how much this ticket costs right?’” described Kevin. “The woman said ‘that’s fine’ and just pulled out her credit card.”
“The agent kept talking about her goosebumps while the man hugged the woman and asked for her name to repay her. The woman just kept saying, ‘Don’t worry about it,” he added.

Because such generosity is rarely witnessed nowadays, people are applauding the woman’s actions and calling her an “inspiration.”
According to Jennica Kettle, a friend of the woman,
“She is so full of love for everyone and does what is needed without being asked. She is an inspiration every time I see her and is constantly giving freely.”
