22. Stay Away from Demonstrations
Just like any other country, Guatemala has political and social problems that sometimes make their way to the streets in the form of demonstrations and rallies. Although it might be exciting to take a closer look at the goings-on within these gatherings, it is better to stay away from them completely. These demonstrations can turn for the worse at any given moment and getting caught in the middle of a riot, or getting arrested is the last thing you want to happen.
