Friends forever or friends no more?
Gerry McCann even recalled that, when he had gone to check on his kids at 9 p.m., he had noticed that the apartment door had been wide open, making him wonder if his memory served him right. He knew he had closed it almost all the way on their way out to dinner, but upon checking in on them, his kids were still there fast asleep. Around 9:30 p.m., Kate was set to check on their kids but since their friend Matthew was going to check on his, he offered to check on the McCann children as well. He claims that although he didn’t bother to look inside, he hadn’t heard anything alarming, making him believe that all three McCann siblings were safely sleeping inside their room.
