The Search Continues
Due to the lack of evidence found in Mele’s apartment, they have nothing to arrest him on, forcing them to continue the search for Laura. Police scoured various areas, going over any leads and clues they could find in the process. Although they were following procedures like they would in a homicide investigation, Captain Wayne Olson had explained, “We certainly haven’t given up hope she is alive.”
