“Once-in-a-lifetime vacation”
When the group dropped by the office of Sandy Point village commissioner Roderick W. Pinder to have some paperwork drawn for their return to the U.S., Arthur said told Pinder that it was a “once-in-a-lifetime vacation” and that they’ll be back before Christmas. On that same night, the group had dinner together on board the ship. They shared a meal prepared by Dene, which was to be the last meal ever to be served on the yacht.
