Getting Krebs To Confess
Zaragoza requested the help of 30-year law enforcement veteran Larry Hobson. He knew that if there was anybody that could get Krebs to make a confession, it was Hobson. Hobson took some time getting Krebs to trust him, bringing him out of the jail a few times, allowing him to talk and just “shoot the breeze” as he describes it. He would get Krebs to answer “scenarios,” pretending that he was asking about other cases. Eventually, he caught Krebs in his own fabrication.
