23. The tiny parasitic snails
Snails look harmless, but some of their kind are extremely deadly. The tiny parasitic snails thrive in lakes and rivers and are known to be carriers of the disease schistosomiasis, which is deadly to humans. When infected, the host could experience paralysis of the legs, flu-like symptoms, and vomiting of blood.
