30. Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes are among the tiniest, yet the deadliest in the animal world. The dengue disease it carries alone is responsible for the deaths of some 660,000 to 1 million deaths each year. Some mosquito species carry other deadly diseases, such as malaria, which claim the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world each year.
