26. Scorpions
Scorpions are remnants of the prehistoric world. Out of the 2,000 species of scorpions, only 25 are venomous, some of which have the potential to kill larger creatures, including humans. It is estimated that between 1,000 and 5,000 people die from scorpion sting each year.
