Proper Protocol
The moment baby Chris was with Dr. Shannon, he took a blood sample from the baby in order to rule out meningitis. He also did a spinal tap and was thorough with the examination. Then, he provided an IV drip to take care of the fever. The doctor then saw just how tired and stressed the parents were. So, he did something that not every doctor would do.
