Helpless
All Shannon heard was the sound of breaking glass and crunching metal. Time stood still after the collision and while he was hurt, he was conscious all throughout. He knew that he had to get out. He felt the heat on his legs and feet but the crumpled dashboard kept him from getting out of the vehicle. He was trapped, but luckily, help came before it was too late for him.
