Their Reality

For the Willis family, their lives were surrounded by music, making it, playing it, learning it, and how for mom Brenda, about “sharing… talents and balancing a life at home.” For them, music was truly the healing aspect in their lives, and they wanted to be able to share this with the rest of the world. Brenda explained, “We like to enjoy the full spectrum of life. We do music, dance, art, crafts, writing, as well as horses, wrestling, homemade cooking, swimming in the creek, and snuggling up before our fireplace warming our log cabin.” And it wasn’t only in this portion of their lives, but Toby was domineering in the manner in which his daughter’s dressed. Brenda shared, “He approves every outfit the girls wear. He pretty much buys everything.”
