Finding out its secrets
The group found materials used to find natural resources. The mineral-rich mine contributed much to Russia’s economy in the 1800s. In its entrance were beds used to hold the resources that were excavated, but this was only a glimpse of what the mine had to offer.
Once full of life
During the height of World War 2, workers could be found toiling the mines 24 hours a day. Lights were often blazing on every wall, aiding the workers in their dig for precious ores and stones. While there may still be resources available, the mines were locked shut when the war ended. Mikhail wanted an answer to this question: What else is there to be found?
