But that’s not all that Bilal got. Aside from the plaque, the church also presented him with a shirt and a $25 gift card to the Cheesecake Factory. The latter he will use to surprise his two children with. While these may be simple presents, it was the intention and the heartfelt appreciation that went behind it that touched him the most. For him, he was simply helping a woman in need, but for the rest, it was an act that gave people hope that there is still good left in this world.
