Feeling the Love

Bilal felt the love from the entire church congregation, and Pastor Bell felt that the simple act gave people a view of what young African Americans are really like because many of them are portrayed badly on TV. This, for him, was a message worth sharing because Bilal actually took time from his busy day to send a message of love and hope.

Fast Friends

Since that day at church, Bilal and Belinda have become friends. He stays in touch with her and makes sure that she’s okay. In fact, he even extended further help by starting a GoFundMe page for her. He knows just how much she needed to have her van fixed and with his effort, she was able to do so. She can now go around and complete her duties. But more than anything else, both have found true friendships with each other. They discovered in the time they spent together that they value God, kindness, and hard work.
