Stuck at this Point

Aside from being independent, 67-year old Belinda also needed to check in on her one and only daughter every so often. Her girl was in a nursing home after she suffered from a stroke at a very young age. She used the van for groceries, doctors’ visits, church, and just about everything. Now, she only had her wheelchair. For long trips, she was at the mercy of friends, something she didn’t like.

Making Do

At this point, Belinda had to make do with the cards she had been dealt with. So, she decided to limit herself to short trips because she was in a wheelchair. But as fate would have it, she was thrown another curveball, something she hadn’t expected. And the situation left her stressed.
