Zack and Addie both continued to work as bartenders, and during their time off of work, they would drink, a lot. According to those who had known Addie, she had moved from North Carolina due to a troubled past of abuse before settling in New Orleans. In the beginning of their relationship, things were as happy as they could be, despite their lack of money or direction in either of their lives. But soon New Orleans was going to get hit with the worst storm they’d ever had, and the entire state of Louisiana, amongst other states, was going to get the surprise of its life.
