Getting Other Resources

Every few months, Zach and Eric have to leave Marble Island to go get a new batch of gasoline for the generators they use. There is no working electricity on the island, so they have to rely on these man made machines to keep certain things running, especially during the coldest of nights. They also use this time in ‘civilization’ to get other food or groceries that they can’t get or grow at home.

Drinkable Water

Zach and Eric also source out their potable drinking water from a tiny creek off the island, which they keep in a tank. For Anze, when he first arrived on Marble Island and experienced the way that Zach and the others lived, he confesses that he was perplexed as to why anyone would live they way they do.
