The Chaos Began

The crowd was packed to the brim with 22,000 attendees. Everyone was enjoying the last portion of the festival with Jason Aldean on stage. Then what many believed were fireworks at the end of the show, people soon realized that it was a massive amount of bullets being shot from an undisclosed location.

Trying To Escape

When the foursome realized, along with most of the crowd, that what they were hearing was bullets rather than fireworks, Athena shared, “My sister said, ‘duck,’ so we duck and the next thing we know she was already hit. It just happened so fast.”
