On August 8, 2017, Jaz had been out with some neighbors, who were also friends, in their Alexandria town, when she returned home that evening. She had gotten another horrible migraine, which her mom, Sarah, says she gets all the time. Her mom even shared, “When she gets them, she gets really sick, like, throws up and everything.”

Headed Out

It was around 10:30 p.m. that night, and Sarah shared, “So she [Jaz] changed into her PJs and laid on the couch.” Sara had to leave for a ‘family emergency,’ but wasn’t too worried since Jaz gets migraines all the time and knew what to do about them. Plus Jaz’s older sister happened to be home as well with her boyfriend, so Sarah wasn’t afraid to leave her younger daughter home knowing she wasn’t alone.
