Collecting DNA Evidence
Back at the house, detectives were quickly going through whatever evidence they could find. Since Ryan couldn’t identify anyone exactly, investigators were taking evidence and DNA samples from wherever they could. They were able to retrieve two baseball hats, which were lost during the time that the intruders fled, as well as a pair of latex gloves which had gunshot residue, left near the crime scene. But then the police would find other evidence that would lead them to the reason for the break in in the first place.
