A Break In The Case
Although it took almost six months to find more information or evidence of the crime, the case finally caught a break when a report from one of the Vetrano’s neighbors said they saw someone trying to break into a house using a crowbar. The person in question was Chanel Lewis. Lt. John Russo, seen in the photo above, reported to have also seen Lewis around the area of the crime as well, acting suspiciously. Due to this, the police decided to check into the life of Chanel Lewis.
