When Lewis finally admitted to the crime and started talking to the police, he had told them that he had a “hatred for women.” More details of his past had even emerged with police finding out from another source that he had “allegedly threatened to hurt female students at his high school with a knife.” After admitting to the police about “hitting and choking” Vetrano, he also supposedly said that he strangled her “because she came from a white neighborhood.”
