Alone With His Thoughts
Callahan shares that during his first few days afloat on the water, he had many thoughts run through his mind. But one of the more prominent ones was about what he had made of his young life so far. He shares, “In the coming days, I had a lot of time to think, and I regretted every mistake I’d ever made – I was divorced, and felt I had failed at human relations generally, at business and now even at sailing. I desperately wanted to get through it so I could make a better job of my life.”
