According to Wadhi Azmi, the director for Wildlife Studies at the Syiah Kuala University in Indonesia, everyone needs to consider the impact of ruining the natural habitats of many wild animals to convert into farming plantations. According to Azmi, this “rare case of a python eating a person [was] an unfortunate incident,” it still goes to show how much global growth is affecting the world’s wild creatures. And unless the population comes together to protect its wildlife, who knows what other crazy events might occur from the lack of taking care of the world’s environment.
