The next morning, Akbar was still not home from his harvest. His neighbor, Junaidi recalls, “People had heard cries from the palm grove the night before Akbar was found in the snake’s stomach,” but hadn’t known what it was. So when Akbar was found to be missing, the villagers decided to begin a search party for him since he still hadn’t returned home.
