They were not in their beds

At around 4:00 AM of January 17, any parent’s worst fear happened. Thomas got up to get ready for work. He found some of the lights in some of the rooms were left on. He checked the bedrooms of the girls, but Jennifer and Kourtney weren’t in their beds.

A wide open front door

A rush of fear came over him. He quickly ran downstairs, only to find more lights had been turned on elsewhere in the house. The twins’ toys were found strewn all over the rooms downstairs. Even more terrifying was that the front door had been left open.
