But anyone who has ever undergone surgery, especially as complicated as Ivanka’s, know just how expensive they can be. From doctors’ fees, to operating costs, to simply having to remain in the hospital for recovery, it all costs quite a pretty penny. Ivanka’s sisters wanted to help her deal with the expenses so they began a GoFundMe campaign to do exactly that.

When her sisters decided to start a GoFundMe page, the hope was to raise enough funding in order to help Ivanka get the remaining surgeries she required to complete the reconstruction on her face. Not only would it allow her to finally chew properly, but it would also give her the ability to hear out of her defective ear, and that was aside from the fact that her face would also finally look more symmetrical.
