Under Observation

Upon her arrival, Joanne and the baby they eventually named Madison Grace, would be whisked away to the delivery room. She shares, “I got to Hinchingbrooke and they took me straight to delivery suite. There were doctors, paediatricians, nurses and midwives – about seven people in total – looking after me and Madison.”

Completely Unprepared

Since Joanne had no clue that she had been pregnant at all, she wasn’t prepared at all. She explained, “The nurses said she needed feeding and asked if I had any nappies or clothes. I was completely unprepared and it was only then that it started to sink in that I had just had [a] baby.”
