Lane’s story seemed to fit as there was no sign of trauma on Aliza’s body. She passed the lie detector exam and told them that she simply feared that the cops wouldn’t believe that her daughter simply died in her crib. Nonetheless, her actions afterwards remained suspicious. So, she was charged with second degree manslaughter and obstructing governmental administration.
