According to Dr. Perry, Michael Cleveland’s ‘chest was only moving because he had a lot of air to expel’ since he was still considered young, at 46. And yet, the family kept pressing Dr. Perry, begging for him to double check Michael. They were positive that he was indeed, still alive.

Trying To Convince The Doctor

Tammy shares how at first, she believed the doctor when he told her that Michael had died. But the more she spent time with him, there were ‘more and more signs’ that this just wasn’t the case. She even said, “The doctor told me that it would appear like he was breathing, but he really wasn’t. I said, ‘But he’s responding to me… He (tried) to hug me’.”
